The EWB-USA Honolulu Professional Chapter (EWB-Aloha) was established in 2008 to provide assistance and resources to the student chapter at the University of Hawaii at Manoa
with their Nicaragua project. In 2011, EWB-Aloha decided it was time to adopt its' first project. After much deliberation, the EWB-USA program for a Thailand irrigation project
was selected due to the similar climate, its close proximity, and the high interest from the chapter members and was awarded to the chapter July 6, 2011.
Although the efforts of the EWB-Aloha's members are currently focused on the Thailand project, this chapter is looking to increase it's local participation through volunteer and
outreach activities. Stay tuned for upcoming events and please contact us if you'd like to be added to the email list... we always welcome new faces!
